Effective risk management enables the University to identify, assess and seize opportunities which assist in the delivery of its objectives and improve its performance, whilst protecting the reputation and sustainability of the University. The University is committed to ensuring that it has a robust and comprehensive system of risk management in line with the requirements of the Office for Students.

The  School of Technology’s risk register was approved at Council of the School meeting on 24 November 2023.

It comprises a high-level summary of the key risks faced and is informed by risk owners within the School, the School’s Departments and the University’s risk register. Mitigating actions (current and further) are monitored by risk owners and the School’s risk register is formally reviewed every six months.

Once approved by the Council of the School, the revised version of the School’s risk register is published as soon as is practicable.
